Macclesfield District General Hospital

Is part of East Cheshire NHS Trust which serves a population of 200,000 living within the Boroughs of Macclesfield and Congleton in Cheshire.  The laboratory is sited in the main acute hospital at Macclesfield; there are also community hospitals at Congleton and Knutsford. 

The Biochemistry Department has recently been equipped with the latest Beckman instrumentation and was re-inspected by CPA in June 2005.
